Dr. Elizabeth Preston, V.M.D.
Dr. Preston graduated from Penn State in 1974 and received her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1978. She started practicing at Stewartstown Vet Services immediately after graduation. In 1982 she formed a partnership with Dr. Krechmer. In 1991 Dr. Preston became the sole owner of Stewartstown Vet Services. Stewartstown Vet Services became a strictly small animal practice in the year 2000. Dr. Preston is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Preston has 2 dogs and 7 cats to keep her busy at home. She is an avid Penn State football fan along with the Eagles and Steelers.
Dr. Lisa Baker, D.V.M.
Dr. Baker is a 1999 alumnus of Salisbury State University and 2004 alumnus of the Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and treasurer of the Harford County Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Baker has completed continuing education on pain management, internal medicine and surgery. She has experience in both general and emergency medicine. Dr. Baker loves dachshund dogs and has two named Sara and Sammy I am. In her spare time Dr. Baker likes to swim, run, dance, draw and spend time with her family.
Tami joined the Stewartstown Vet Services team in May of 1992 and currently works as a Veterinary Technician.
Receptionist and Veterinary Assistant, Rachel joined Stewartstown Vet Services in 2008 while a senior at Kennard Dale High School. She is now the front office supervisor and helps tech when needed.
Growing up in Harford County Maryland, she was active in 4H showing cattle and pigs. Her love for animals has played a large role in her life. Rachel now resides in Delta, Pa with her husband Kurtis and their 9 year old Pit Bull Marty.
Kayla came to Stewartstown Vet Services in the fall of 2008 while working toward her Veterinary Technician certification. Most days you can find Kayla assisting the doctors in surgery. When she is not in surgery, she is up front helping in reception.
Growing up, Kayla always had large breed dogs. In her spare time, Kayla is an advocate for Autism Awareness. She now resides in Delta, Pa with her boyfriend Larry and son Larry IV along with their lab Cash, pug Hank and cat Lucy.
Michelle started at Stewartstown Vet Services in April of 2012 as a Receptionist. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, crocheting, knitting, cooking and making candy. Michelle has a cat, Albert Felinestein and a dog, Athena Marie.
Veterinary Technician Sam, joined Stewartstown Vet Services in September 2013. She is currently going to school online and working toward a degree in Veterinary Technology as well as her Vet Tech License.
She currently has a cat named Truman, a snake named Axle, and fish, appropriately named, hannibal.
After many years as a client of Stewartstown Vet Services, Deb decided to join the team in 2015 as a part-time receptionist while working towards her degree in Psychology. Deb also helps run rooms as a tech when she is needed.
She currently lives in Stewartstown, Pa with her husband Kyle, her two daughters Kiley and Logan, and their two pets, a 9 year old lab, Sunshine and an 11 year old cat, Rex.
